A nationwide annual event run by the Department of Health to promote breastfeeding as the healthiest feeding option for babies and mothers.


Walk to School Week
19th - 23rd May
The theme of this month's Walk to School week will be Noise Action Week, which aims to encourage children to explore the links between noise and walking to school.


World No Tobacco Day 31st May
The theme of this year's No Tobacco Day is Free Youth, campaigning for a total ban on tobacco advertising. The marketing and advertising of cigarettes and tobacco aims to attract new, young and potentially life-long users and today focuses on this threat to young people.
