World Environment Day 5th June
This year's slogan is Kick the Habit! Towards a Low Carbon Economy and is designed to stimulate worldwide awareness of the environment, and especially this year of greenhouse gas emissions and climate change.
Green Transport Week 14th-22nd June
Green Transport Week aims to raise awareness of the effects of transport on the environment and to highlight transport alternatives. It also aims to send a message to the goverment about environmental and green transport issues.
National Bug Busting Day - 15th June

Refugee Week - 16th - 20th (culminating in World Refugee Day on the 20th)
A UK-wide programme of arts, cultural and educational events that celebrate the contributions of refugees to the UK and encourages a better understanding between communities.
